Earth Day!

I do not know if celebrating the Earth just one day a year is enough. I do however firmly believe that there are some out there who have no clue, what all their diapers, and water bottles are doing to the earth or sea life. I as a mother have two very green little boys. They both know that human milk is for human babies, that cloth diapers are best, and making your own is better than buying.
Earth day was created by a sadistic man, who murdered his girl friend. With that said it really had nothing to do with the day it's self. If in fact people where teaching about preserving the earth, and reduce, reuse, recycle it wouldn't be so bad.
Today I saw numerous, adds, posters, flyers, and pamphlets, all to address one day that will wind up in the trash, isn't that a bit redundant. Maybe hand out water bottles with info on them, or reuseable shopping bags, not more trash!

15q11.2 Micro Deletion!

My Youngest son G, recently had genetic testing done. The results came back that he has 15q11.2 Microdeletion. This is a tiny part of the 15th chromosome. So here is a run down. When an embryo is formed the sperm and egg come together each with their half of the 24 chromosome's to make 24 pairs of chromosomes. Sometimes this is not the case. There are many many variations to the genetic sequence that can cause an abundant amount of problems. The deletion G has is part of the 15th chromosome. The 11.2 part to be exact. G's deletion is part of the gene that cause's Angleman syndrome. This deletion is so rare that the only information they have, is a compiled list of the 50 our so people documented with the deletion. It reads something like this 8 year old male, ADHD. 12 year old female mental ability of A 4 year old. The list goes on and on like that in a horribly frustrating way. When you google 15q11.2 micro deletion the words schizophrenia, autism, ADHD, OCD, pop up, all of this just opens new doors, and doesn't answer any of the questions we had that led to the testing to begin with. I as a mother am totally lost, and do not know what to do next.

April Fools!

So apparently the big thing is to say you are prago on April fools if you are a girl/woman. I don't believe this is a good idea for many, MANY reasons. One is the heart attack you will give family and friends, two what about all of those friends married, waiting, spending thousands of dollars  and taking their temp every morning to get pregnant. Or worse yet the friend that just lost a pregnancy  or child. You are joking about having a child as they morn theirs. It is heartless and just wrong. Sorry for my rant. Next time you should just think about who might see the post, or better yet just play the joke on people you see, so you can keep the tender hearts of those who do not find pregnancy a joke safe.
